Contemporary mountainside vacation home in Spain
Casares, Espana is where you tin can find this beautiful vacation home. It'due south located about 20 miles n of Gibraltar. The couple that owns this residence previously had some other vacation in Sotogrande but decided to opt for something closer to nature so they chose southern Spain.
View in gallery The couple and their 2 children went to have a look at the site and they immediately fell in love with the views and the surroundings. From there you lot can see the classic Andalusian village of Gaucín, with its white-washed homes, perched on the crest of the Sierra del Hacho, and the jagged mountains of the Serranía de Ronda to the eastward. The couple finalized the plans to purchase the plot in 2004 but they had to look another twelvemonth for the permit that would allow them to build there.

View in gallery When they were finally able to build their new vacation domicile, they adjusted a contemporary design and they worked with American architect John Onker. The event was a large and impressive firm that seems to be rising out of the ground. The house features ii carve up wings.

Off the dining room there'due south a metal staircase next to a kitchen/family room. Upstairs at that place'south the master bedroom and the children's rooms.
